Unmanned aircraft flight monitoring, protection of public places and critical infrastructure

As part of the project, unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) detection sensors were installed in the city with the aim of strengthening security in the administrative territory of Riga by introducing technological solutions for monitoring and controlling unmanned aerial vehicle flights.
The Significance of the Project for Riga
With the rapid growth in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, there is also an increased risk of unauthorized flights over public places and critical infrastructure facilities. Therefore, the implementation of this project is essential to ensure the safety of public places, protect critical infrastructure, improve the response capabilities of municipal emergency services, and reduce potential security threats in urban areas.
Target of the Project
Ensure the monitoring of unmanned aerial vehicle flights within the administrative territory of Riga, strengthening the protection of public places and critical infrastructure.
